Attorney Bomstein's practice focuses primarily on litigation, handling both commercial lawsuits and malpractice cases. Attorney Pinnola's work is chiefly in the area of social security disability appeals. The firm also represents clients in real estate sales and small business transactions.

Over the years, many of the firm's clients have come from the Chinese community. Michael Bomstein speaks some Mandarin and has visited China. His clients have included Chinese restaurant owners, merchants, and individuals with any number of legal problems. Since the late 1990's he has shared office space and successfully worked on a number of cases with attorney Catherine P. Y. Siu.

Catherine P.Y. Siu is an attorney in private practice with offices located a few blocks from Chinatown. Prior to practicing law, attorney Siu worked for many years as a certified public accountant and she brings to her legal practice her experience in tax matters, business and corporations. As a lawyer, she also practices in the areas of family law, bankruptcy, immigration and general litigation. Attorney Siu speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
